The Big Lunch 2010 - 18th July 2010
Posted by Fr Barry
At the Big Lunch 2009 there were up to a million people sat down and ate together in communities up and down the country. There was thousands of neighbourhoods and miles of bunting taken to the streets and that was even with the rain
The Big Lunch website says "From the Celtic Gateway to the Humber Bridge, and from Aberdeen to Bodmin, thousands of neighbourhoods took part in this glorious celebration of community spirit in the biggest collection of open-air parties since the Golden Jubilee." (http://www.thebiglunch.com/the-first-big-lunch.php)
Put this years date in your diary and start telling your neighbours about the idea and start planning then let us know if you are going to have one in your neighbourhood and we can promote it on the website.
Best wishes
Bev
